For more than 15 years, Spy Camp in San Francisco has engaged young students with our unique blend of tech, craft, ski and martial arts activities.
Agent Vector Here Again. One of our biggest days at Spy Camp is Tuesday. Tuesday means training, and that’s exactly what we did! We pack a lot of activities into a short amount of time. |

We stay on the move on Tuesday, rotating our activities. First the cadets trained with Walkie Talkies, improving both their communication skills and teamwork skills. Next they learned some basic navigation skills with nothing more than good, old-fashioned compasses. They also gained a little self-reliance in the process. And of course, Tuesday means stick fighting, led by the legendary master Slice. His patient teaching skills can turn a shy 2nd Grader into a formidable warrior! |

In the afternoon, we moved back inside and switched gears to the craft of building mini-lasers. The cadets build their own actual mini-laser. They also demonstrated their artistic skills by designing colorful housing units for their lasers. Now, you might ask, just what does a spy cadet do with a fully-functional laser? Well, in the world of the spy we like to keep our secrets…until we’re ready to spring a surprise! Until next time! -Agent Vector |
